“We are very pleased to inform that the staff of Kosan Crisplant Lanka Ltd, Udupila, Delgoda agreed to launch their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) program at “Happy Aged Elders Home”. As a part of their CSR program, they will undertake many activities such as offering 3 meals to the elders once a month throughout the year, a tree planting program, and engage in cleaning and maintenance work etc.
General Manager Mr. Ananda Pathinayaka and Finance Manager Mr. Ajith Priyantha of Kosan Crisplant Lanka Ltd with some of their staff members visited the home on 8th June 2018 and they offered 03 meals to the elders as a beginning of their CSR program. Despite their busy schedule, they spent a few hours in the elders home. Head of Sri Lanka chapter of our elders home, Tissa Senadheera and Caretaker Mr. Rupasinghe, welcome the group and described to them how “Happy Aged Elders Home” started and progressed to the present level. Tissa Senadheera further explained how the funds were collected by staging a musical show in Vancouver by the children of the Sri Lanakan community in Vancouver, Canada.
Mr. Ananda Pathinayaka agreed to invite their Chairman in Denmark to visit the elders home during his next visit to Sri Lanka.

Happy Aged Elders Home, which is located in Kirikiththa Danawkanda, Weliveriya, was opened on January 08th, 2016. This elder home was funded by group of friends living in Vancouver, Canada. When the home was opened, it occupied nine elders and has a capacity to vacate 24 elders.
A music concert, “Sarana Miyesiya”, is organized yearly and played in Vancouver by a new band, “CanCeylonians”, which is formed by children of Mr. Ajith Pathigoda and his friends who are living in Vancouver. Band members’ names are as follows: Himsara, Dinuka, Achin, Vihan, and Sandaru.
The elders home has an organic vegetable garden which is created and maintained by the elders. This elders home mostly occupy elders who are innocent and deserving that have done a great service to Sri Lanka.
Mr. Ajith Pathigoda says the “2016 Sarana Miyesiya” music concert was a great success and for “2017 Sarana Miyesiya” concert, Mr. Saman De Silva has been invited to perform in Vancouver, Canada.
